NutriSI-ON es un proyecto interdisciplinar en el que trabajan dos grupos con capacidades y experiencias complementarias y sinérgicas para dar lugar a un nuevo enfoque de la nutrición de precisión en inmunología.

En los últimos años, el laboratorio de Inmunometabolismo se ha convertido en un referente mundial en su área, tal y como lo avalan en este periodo la concesión del Premio L'Oréal UNESCO Women for Science y de uno de los dos únicos proyectos ERCStarting Grant en la categoría de Ciencias de la Vida que se concedieron en toda España, relacionado con la propuesta de NutriSI-ON.
